Former EastEnders actress Jacqueline has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her boyfriend and says he's never been violent towards her
Jacqueline Jossa has spoken out to defend boyfriend and father of her baby Dan Osborne on the same day his ex revealed the devastating aftermath of the TOWIE hunk's 'violent and controlling' behaviour.
Today Megan Tomlin revealed how Dan's 'controlling behaviour' left her lacking self-esteem and urged other victims not to suffer in silence.
Dan featured in two leaked audio tapes in which he threatened the mother of his 15-month-old son Teddy, and told her: "It won't be funny when you're in hospital."
But coming to his defence, Jacqueline says he has never been violent towards her - though doesn't excuse the behaviour for which she says he's apologised for.
She wrote: "I can assure you I wouldn't stand by a man capable of everything Dan has been made out to be, he is my best friend, boyfriend and he is a brilliant father, above all else, I just want to clear up, he has never once been violent or even shown signs towards me at all.
"People selling stories on him, show one side to a story, but people around Dan know the whole truth, and you would all be shocked.
"I am 100 percent not saying what Daniel has said was right or okay, but people make mistakes when on dark places, and it's something that we sorted out privately not in front of the whole world, it's something he has apologised for and is embarrassed about [sic]."
