The mother-of-one is back to work after spending time in hospital following complications with surgery
Katie Piper looked stunning as she took centre stage at London's Ideal Home Show yesterday.
The mum-of-one strutted along the catwalk of the UK's first diversity catwalk dressed in a black leotard.
Katie was admitted to hospital last week following complications from her acid attack surgery, but she looked back to business as she hosted the inspiring event.
The stunning blonde was dressed in a black leotard and sky high black heels as she proudly led models on stage at the final of Confidence - The Secret, which challenges the catwalk norm.
Speaking about the event, she said: "I'm proud to showcase the brave and dedicated models taking part.
"I hope we find some truly inspiring people to join myself and my friends from the Katie Piper Foundation to take part in this every exciting event!"
Last weekend the TV presenter thanked fans for their support after she was admitted to hospital following complications from a throat operation.
The blonde star's oesophagus was torn last month when she was having scar tissue removed from a 2008 acid attack.
It caused pain, vomiting and the loss of a stone in just two weeks.
The 31-year-old took to Twitter to send a heartfelt message of thanks to her followers as she was monitored in hospital.
She said: "Thanks for all your kind messages, I am back in hospital unfortunately but getting good treatment so probably the best place to be right now."
She added: "Just want to try and find a way forward to get back to normal health."
The star added she hoped to be back home with daughter Belle and fiance soon.
She said: "I went in for a routine operation to remove scar tissue from my attack but there were complications.
"I was discharged but started to deteriorate.
"It’s been very painful and I’ve lost a stone in 15 days so I had to come in and be monitored.
“A stone is a lot and I look like a skeleton but hope to be back home and back to normal ASAP – all fun and games.”
Katie was also forced to miss her daughter Belle’s first birthday party as a result of her illness.
She was the victim of a horrific acid attack in 2008 arranged by an ex-boyfriend and has had to have regular procedures since.
She has since launched a charity for burns victims and is a successful television presenter and author.
She is due to marry her long term partner and father of her daughter later this year
